Past the Bend in the Road

Our dire human diagnosis
gives us all a freedom
to forgive, to fly,
to try- anything at all.
It’s ending,
but I will not hold a scolding sign
and walk about the streets.

The human world is dying,
so the mountains tell me,
so the blue sky whispers,
so the dewy grass
cries diamond tears of Change.
The ending means a call
to plunge below the false divisions,
to find beneath,
our deep connection.

Life continues past the bend!
The world that’s dying contains
like any living thing,
future seeds within it
of a world that’s new.
For me and you, it’s time,
time to ready for resetting.

So beautifully and powerfully stated, what we all need to do “plunge below the false divisions”.
